Nancy, France:
The French city of Nancy forfeited the right to host matches at Euro 2016 on Friday after failing to reach a deal with construction firms over the renovation of Stade Marcel-Picot.
"We're therefore giving up on Euro 2016 and, for the moment, the renovation of Stade Marcel-Picot," said council leader Andre Rossinot at a press conference.
Nancy's stadium was one of an initial nine chosen to host matches at the tournament, to which Toulouse and Saint-Etienne were added in June.
