Everton Sign Swiss Youngster Shani Tarashaj
Shani Tarashaj, who has eight goals in 18 games for Grasshoppers this season, will be loaned back by Everton to Swiss club Grasshoppers for the remainder of the season to allow him to complete his national service.

Everton have signed Switzerland Under-21 forward Shani Tarashaj from Swiss outfit Grasshoppers on a four-and-a-half year deal, in the English Premier League club's first signing in the January transfer window. (Everton Defeat Manchester City 2-1 in League Cup Semifinal First Leg)

Everton announced the signing on Thursday, with manager Roberto Martinez saying Tarashaj "is an enormous young talent in Swiss football who, without a doubt, will have a great future".
Meanwhile, Liverpool have recalled centre back Tiago Ilori and forward Sheyi Ojo from loan spells with Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers, respectively, to ease their growing injury crisis.
