Erling Haaland's girlfriend had a surprising reaction to his new buzzcut hairstyle, leaving the Manchester City star in shock.
Erling Haaland's new hairstyle has taken the internet by storm, and going by his recent YouTube vlog, it seems like those closest to him have also been caught by surprise. The Norway and Manchester City football superstar decided to shave off his iconic long hair ahead of the 2026-27 season, instead going for a buzz haircut. While the likes of Pep Guardiola and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were left in disbelief at Haaland's new look, his girlfriend had a completely different reaction.
Isabel Haugseng Johansen, Haaland's girlfriend, initially appeared surprised by the 6'5" striker's new look, before delivering her ultimate verdict.
"Oh my God! It looks nice," said Johansen at first.
"What do you think?" Haaland asked, to which she replied, "You look cute."
It was a response that not even Haaland was expecting from his girlfriend. The Manchester City striker appeared to be sarcastically devastated at the "cute" remark.

"You look really tough," Johansen further said after Haaland's disappointed reaction.
Haaland then asked his girlfriend which hairstyle she preferred between his previous one and his new one, to which she replied, "Both".
Haaland's first Premier League appearance with his new hair cut did not go to plan, as the striker missed a couple of opportunities in Manchester City's 2-1 comeback win over AFC Bournemouth on Sunday.
Haaland has become one of the most easily distinguishable sport stars in recent years because of his long hair.
In a video on Haaland's YouTube channel, Zlatan Ibrahimovic asked if the City striker had "lost a bet" when he was shown the new hairstyle.
"You gonna be faster now, or what?" Ibrahimovic said.
Former City manager Pep Guardiola reacted to the haircut by saying: "You're lucky to have hair. I would love to have it!"
Haaland arrived at Etihad Stadium for the Bournemouth game wearing a cap, but that had been removed for the warmup - revealing the buzz cut.
