London:
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will be sidelined for at least two more weeks with an ankle injury and could miss England's upcoming 2012 European Championship qualifiers.
Arsenal had expected Wilshere to be on the verge of returning to action before having a setback on Monday.
Manager Arsene Wenger said Wilshere's right foot is "in a boot again, so that means he will at least be out for two or three weeks."
England are already without midfielder Steven Gerrard for the matches against Bulgaria on Sept. 2 and Wales four days later.
The injury was sustained on July 31 during a preseason friendly against the New York Red Bulls.
