New Delhi:
India's middle-order batting mainstay Yuvraj Singh has been named as the team's vice-captain for the ongoing ICC World Twenty 20 in England.
Yuvraj was appointed as MS Dhoni's deputy after Virender Sehwag was ruled out of the tournament due to injured shoulder.
Interestingly, Sehwag had replaced Yuvraj after the southpaw went through a lean patch and missed out on a berth in the Test side.
Sehwag was named the vice-captain in all three formats. However, it is not clear if Yuvraj will continue to hold the position.
