Australia allrounder Shane Watson says performing under pressure will be what decides the World Cup and not who is the pre-tournament favourite.
Watson told reporters on Saturday that success or failure "in the end comes down to who can stand up when it counts."
Defending champion Australia has been overtaken by India, Sri Lanka and South Africa as popular choices to win, but Watson isn't reading anything into those predictions as the Aussies seek a fourth straight title.
He says: "There are some extremely strong teams ... but it depends who handles the pressure best."
Watson also wouldn't say who he considered the top three teams in 2011, instead insisting Australia was "in a good place" and eager to get its defense underway against Zimbabwe on Monday in Group A.
