A huge controversy erupted during the Under-23 Col CK Nayudu Trophy final between Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh. An umpiring decision has caught the attention of the fans after Karnataka opener Prakhar Chaturvedi was given out caught-behind by the on-field umpire, despite wicketkeeper Aaradhya Yadav clearly grassing the ball. The incident took place during the morning session of Day 1 when Chaturvedi tried to swat Shubham Mishra's delivery for a boundary.
However, the ball was sliding down the leg side and Prakhar only managed to get the slightest of edges.
The UP players made a strong appeal for caught behind and the umpire raised his finger, while Aaradhya was busy gathering the ball from the ground.
Taking to social media, a fan pointed out the bizarre incident and questioned the "level of umpiring" in the domestic circuit.
The fan urged the BCCI to investigate the incident and penalise the umpire.

Some of the users even called for a ban on the wicketkeeper Yadav for cheating.
The keeper should be banned for two years from playing cricket.

Even commentator is saying "pakad liya". Either he is blind or biased.

This is purely cheating

The wicketkeeper needs some morality lessons. If this is how he is going to play he is not likely go too far in his career
