Australia A head into Friday's one-day 'A' tri-series cricket final unbeaten after defeating South Africa A by 108 runs in Chennai on Wednesday. Also called up to the Australian squads were Nathan Coulter-Nile (2/8 from 7 overs), Ashton Agar (3/41) and Cameron Boyce (3/48), who combined to dismiss South Africa A for 164 in 37.1 overs to claim the bonus point win.
Earlier after winning the toss and electing to bat, Wade struck a powerful 130 from 106 deliveries, while fellow Victorian teammate Peter Handscomb also continued his impressive Indian tour with 52.
Lonwabo Tsotsobe (3/50) was the pick of the South Africa A bowlers as they dismissed Australia A for 272 in the 48th over.
Captain Dean Elgar (64) top-scored for the South Africans, but their tail lost 5/22 to fall 108 runs short of Australia's total. (India A Eye Final Spot)
Wednesday's match was played following a day's postponement after a number of South Africa A players were hospitalised earlier this week due to illness (food poisoning).
Australia A will play either South Africa A or India A in Friday's final in Chennai. India clash with South Africa on Thursday.
