# India have won their last three games against Pakistan - by 3 wickets at Dambulla on June 19, 2010; by 29 runs at Mohali on March 30, 2011 and by 6 wickets at Mirpur on March 18, 2012.

# India (330/4) have recorded their highest successful chase in ODIs, eclipsing the 326 for eight against England at Lord's on July 13, 2002.

# India's aforesaid total is the highest successful chase by any team against Pakistan in ODIs, surpassing the 316 for seven by India at Dhaka on January 31, 1988 and 316 for four by Australia at Lahore on November 10, 1998.

# India's 330 for four is the highest total by any team against Pakistan at the Asia Cup. The said total is India's second highest at the Asia Cup - the highest is 374 for four against Hong Kong at Karachi on June 25, 2008.

# Mohammad Hafeez's first hundred against India is his fourth in ODIs. He has posted one century each against Zimbabwe, West Indies, New Zealand and India in ODIs.

# Hafeez's career-best is an unbeaten 139 against Zimbabwe at Harare on September 11, 2011.

# Hafeez's magnificent 105 off 113 balls is his first century at the Asia Cup, surpassing the 89 against Bangladesh at Dhaka on March 11, 2012.

# Hafeez became the first batsman to amass 200 runs in the present competition - 205 (ave.68.33) in three matches, including a hundred and a fifty.

# Virat Kohli, with 357 runs at an average of 119.00, in three matches, including two hundreds and a fifty, is the top run-scorer in the present competition.

# Sachin Tendulkar is the top run-scorer against Pakistan in ODIs, aggregating 2526 in 69 matches at an average of 40.09, surpassing Sanath Jayasuriya's tally of 2517 (ave.32.68) in 82 matches.

# Tendulkar has recorded his 96th fifty, extending his record in ODIs - his 16th against Pakistan.

# Tendulkar, in his last seven innings against Pakistan, has recorded four fifties, including 99 at Mohali on November 8, 2007 and 97 at Gwalior on November 15, 2007.

# Sachin Tendulkar's Asia Cup record is quite impressive, aggregating 971 at an average of 51.10 in 23 matches, including two hundreds and seven fifties - the most by an Indian batsman at the Asia Cup.

# Pakistan have posted 300 or more against India sixteen times - the most times a country has recorded 300 against a particular opponent, bettering India's tally of 15 totals of 300-plus against Sri Lanka.

# Nasir Jamshed (112 off 104 balls) has recorded his maiden hundred in ODIs, surpassing the 74 against Zimbabwe at Hyderabad (Sind) on January 24, 2008.

# Hafeez and Nasir Jamshed put on 224 for the first wicket - Pakistan's highest against India, surpassing the 144 between Aamer Sohail and Saeed Anwar at Singapore on April 5, 1996. Overall, five partnerships of 200 or more have been registered for Pakistan against India in ODIs - two for the second wicket and one each for the first, third and fourth wickets.

# The aforesaid double century partnership is Pakistan's highest for any wicket at the Asia Cup, surpassing the 223 for the third wicket between Shoaib Malik and Younus Khan against Hong Kong at Colombo, SSC on July 18, 2004.

# The only other double century stand for Pakistan at the Asia Cup is 205 for the third wicket between Ijaz Ahmed and Moin-ul-Atiq against Bangladesh at Chittagong on October 29, 1988.

# The 224-run partnership is Pakistan's second highest for the first wicket in ODIs - the highest is 228 (unbroken) between Imran Farhat and Mohammad Hafeez against Zimbabwe at Harare on September 11, 2011.

# Four double century partnerships have been recorded for Pakistan for the first wicket in ODIs - two against Sri Lanka and one each against India and Zimbabwe. Of the four, two have been registered by Ramiz Raja and Saeed Anwar - both against Sri Lanka - one each at Sharjah (4.2.1993) and Adelaide (17.2.1990).

# For the first time against India and the sixth time overall, both the Pakistani openers have recorded hundreds in the same innings. The said feat has been accomplished three times against Sri Lanka and once each against India, New Zealand and Bangladesh.

# Having already captured 300 wickets (343 at an average of 33.39), Afridi has become the second all-rounder after Sanath Jayasuriya to complete the double of 7,000 runs and 300 wickets in ODIs. Jayasuriya was the first to achieve the aforesaid double - 13,430 (ave.32.36) and 323 wickets (ave.36.75) in 445 matches.

# Shahid Afridi appeared in his 200th Day/night fixture - the first Pakistani and the fourth overall to accomplish the feat, joining Ricky Ponting (215), Mahela Jayawardene (213) and Sachin Tendulkar (208). Sanath Jayasuriya (199) had missed the feat narrowly.

# Younis Khan (52 off 34 balls) has posted his sixth fifty against India - his 47th in ODIs.

# In his last six innings against India in ODIs, Younus has recorded two hundreds and two fifties.

# Younis Khan has averaged 54.50 at the Asia Cup - 545 runs, including two centuries and three fifties, in 13 matches.

# Virat Kohli is the leading Indian run-getter this year - 730 runs at an average of 73.00 in eleven matches, including three hundreds.

# Rohit Sharma's 68 is his third fifty against Pakistan - his 12th in ODIs.

# Rohit and Virat put on 172 for the third wicket - India's second highest against Pakistan, next only to the 201 at Kochi on April 2, 2005.

# Kohli (183) has recorded a career-best innings in ODIs. The said innings is also the highest by a batsman against Pakistan, obliterating the 156 off 138 balls by Brian Lara at Adelaide on January 28, 2005.

# Kohli is the first batsman to manage 150 runs or more in an innings in the Asia Cup, eclipsing the 144 by Younus Khan for Pakistan against Hong Kong at Colombo, SSC on July 18, 2004.
