Sri Lanka Cricket suspends team manager Charith Senanayake

The SLC recently criticized Senanayake and former captain Mahela Jayawardene of writing to media over a dispute with the cricket board.

Sri Lanka manager Charith Senanayake has been suspended pending a hearing by cricket authorities into three undisclosed charges.

Sri Lanka Cricket's statement on Wednesday doesn't specify the charges but says Senanayake has been sent a letter detailing the suspension without pay.

The SLC recently criticized Senanayake and former captain Mahela Jayawardene of writing to media over a dispute with the cricket board.

Senanayake represented Sri Lanka in 3 Test matches and 7 ODIs as a left-handed batsman.
