Cleverly gives the ball air and bowls it full and outside off, Nitish Rana gets down on one knee and gets temped by the flight. Goes for the slog sweep but gets it from the bottom part of the bat. Skies this one high in the air towards mid on. Aiden Markram calls for the ball and runs backwards to make a tough catch look easy. Shardul Thakur reaches for it and looks to go hard over the off side but slices it straight towards the fielder at deep point. Harshit Rana swings his blade but misses and Anukul Roy calls his through for a bye. Heinrich Klaasen's throw is wayward but it goes to T Natarajan who turns around swiftly halfway down the pitch and hits the stumps at the non-striker's end with his throw. Abhishek Sharma looks to go aerial but does not get any timing on this one. The ball flies high into the night sky towards deep square leg and Andre Russell has to cover a lot of ground from the deep. It is a difficult one to take but The big man does really well to keep his eye on the ball and takes a stunning catch diving forward. 2.5 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Harshit Rana gets his man and Kolkata needed an early wicket badly! He bangs this in short and into the batter. Mayank Agarwal gets inside the line of the ball and looks to pull this away but gets beaten by the extra pace. He gloves this towards the keeper and Rahmanullah Gurbaz has the easiest of catches to take. Hyderabad have managed to draw first blood and it is Harshit Rana who has given them the spark they need.
