Vaibhav Gopal Arora Profile


Vaibhav Arora is a right-arm pace bowler from India. Born on 14th December 1997, the Haryana-born cricketer began his professional career when he made his first-class debut for Himachal Pradesh against Saurashtra during the Ranji Trophy 2019–20 season and a couple of years later, in 2021, he made his T20 debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. A month later, made his List A debut for Himachal Pradesh against Maharashtra in the 2021 Vijay Hazare Trophy.



He was bought by the Kolkata franchise for the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League but released ahead of the 2022 auction where Punjab paid INR 2 crore for his services. He was re-bought by Kolkata for the 2023 season. The following season he picked up 11 wickets in 10 games and was one of the key players helping the side to lift the trophy. Arora was bought back in the autcion for the 2025 season which was like a homecoming for him.


Arora enjoyed his best IPL season in 2025, picking up 17 wickets in 12 matches, a performance that earned him a retention from KKR for the following season. He continued to represent Himachal Pradesh across formats on the domestic circuit and also notched up his maiden first-class half-century in the Ranji Trophy 2025/26. With Harshit Rana ruled out of the IPL, Arora now has a significant responsibility on his shoulders and will be expected to step up as a leader of the pace attack for KKR.
