New Delhi:

The suspect action of India women's team's Snehal Pradhan was confirmed by the International Cricket Council on Wednesday. The seamer has been suspended as a consequent, from bowling in international matches.

Pradhan's action was deemed illegal by an independent test because a comprehensive test, according to the ICC, showed that it exceeded the 15-degree level of tolerance permitted under the relevant regulations.

The analysis was conducted by Prof. Bruce Elliott, member of the ICC Panel of Human Movement Specialists, at the School of Sport Science, Exercise and Health, University of Western Australia (UWA), last month. This was after Pradhan was reported during an ODI against England on June 30.

The bowler can appeal against the conclusion drawn from the study.
