Warne, Hurley reveal their wedding plans

Cricket legend Shane Warne plans to get married to his actress girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley next year.

The 46-year-old actress and the cricketer hope to tie the knot and host the celebrations in Britain and the sportsman's native Australia next summer.

The couple shares this and more in a joint interview for HELLO! magazine. Speaking about their relationship the two say they understand each other and have some similarities that make them click.

"It feels like we have known one another forever. I am extremely happy when I'm with Shane. We are very similar in many ways. Despite differences in our backgrounds and careers, we both come from very secure, loving homes and to me that says a lot," says Hurley.

Meanwhile Warne adds: "I think we just 'get' each other and it feels like we have known one another for ever. I understand why Elizabeth and I getting together initially seemed strange to some people and why it created a lot of interest. We are from different worlds, but funnily enough they are very much the same, too."

In the interview, Warne also reveals the quirky nicknames that the pair have for each other with Hurley calling the former spinner "Big Blonde" due to his hair colour and Shane referring to her as "Luna" after seeing a picture of her with a "massive mouth" in a newspaper.  

"Elizabeth calls me a lot more than just the Big Blonde - she has dozens of names for me, all of them too embarrassing to share. I have a handful for her, too, but I usually call her Luna as there was a terrible paparazzi picture of her once looming in to kiss me, which reminded me of the massive mouth at the entrance of Luna Park, the Australian theme park," says Warne.

The glamorous couple first met two years ago and announced their engagement last October.
