Virat Kohli goes for the swivel-pull but never gets in position and the ball gets big on him quickly. Kohli ends up spooning the ball up and just in front of the square leg region. Omarzai scampers after the ball and puts in a big dive to take an excellent catch and King Kohli has to depart after a simmering innings that never reached the boiling point. 6.2 OUT! CAUGHT! Wicketless in the previous two finals that he has played, Yuzvendra Chahal has taken two balls to take his first scalp in the 2025 IPL final. Fractionally short, around middle and off, Mayank Agarwal looks to help it over the leg side with a slog sweep but cannot quite generate enough power. He has not got enough to clear the field and Arshdeep Singh takes a simple catch at the square leg fence. The 38-run stand is broken and Agarwal departs for 24 (18). Fine leg is brought inside the ring just before this ball and Jamieson goes full and straight at the stumps. Rajat Patidar is enticed enough and walks across the off stump, looking to flick it over short fine leg, but ends up playing all over the ball. Patidar gets hit on the front foot and there is a loud appeal for LBW. The umpire's finger goes up almost instantly and the RCB skipper has to walk back after a fiery start. 16.5 OUT! A wicket at a godsend time for PBKS here! Kyle Jamieson fires in a full toss, around the knee height of the batter, angling on the leg stump line. Liam Livingstone gets the ball on the platter to punish it, but misses as he tries to heave it over the leg side. The ball passes close to the inside edge and rams the front pad. An appeal for LBW, and up goes the finger instantly!  Liam Livingstone after giving it a thought, challenges the onfield decision. UltraEdge shows nothing and the Ball Tracking shows the ball to be clipping the leg stump on the umpire's call. 17.4 OUT! TIMBER! Vyshak Vijaykumar does eventually see the back of the dangerous Jitesh Sharma. Length ball around off, angling back in. Sharma sets up deep in the crease and looks to get inside the line before swinging it over long on but loses his shape a bit. The ball takes the inside edge onto the thigh then deflects over onto one of the bails. A bit unlucky but Sharma has to depart for a fiery 24 off just 10 balls and Punjab get another timely wicket. 171/6

19.2 OUT! LBW! Arshdeep Singh sticks to his guns rather than bowling short and gets the big wicket. Romario Shepherd does review it as he starts walking back. Arshdeep spears in a yorker on middle and leg stump and gets it spot on. Shepherd is early to swing across the line and misses the ball completely. The ball sneaks under the bat and crashes into the pads. The finger is raised almost instantly but the third umpire is called in. In come the replays and there's clearly no bat involved. Ball Tracking shows three reds and Shepherd has to walk back after an entertaining cameo. 188/7

19.4 OUT! CAUGHT! Arshdeep Singh is making amends and how! Goes full and straight again, gets the ball to just tail back into the leg stump as well. Krunal Pandya hangs back and clears the front leg, looking to swing it over long on but can't quite get under the ball. Krunal ends up lofting it down to long on, where Shreyas Iyer takes a simple catch. Just a couple of runs and two wickets off the final over so far. Two balls to go! 189/8

20 OUT! CAUGHT! Straight to the man in the deep and Arshdeep Singh closes out things brilliantly for Punjab Kings. Singh goes back to over the wicket and looks for the toe-crushing yorker, but ends up bowling a gentle full toss on middle and leg. Bhuvneshwar Kumar does get under it but ends up just lofting it down to long on, no timing on it, and Priyansh Arya gobbles up the catch. Royal Challengers Bengaluru finish with 190/9 on the board! 190/9

5 OUT! CAUGHT! That is a catch that could turn the game upside-down, take a bow Phil Salt! Josh Hazlewood hurls this ball just short of a good length and bowls it at the bodyline. Priyansh Arya gets cramped for room as he tries to flick it aerially and gets a decent amount of bat on it as well. The ball flies up down towards the backward square leg fence where Salt runs across to his right from fine leg and takes a solid running catch. However, his momentum is taking him over the ropes and Salt manages to flick the ball back in the air and he rejoins the playing area to take it nonchalantly on the second attempt. The RCB players and fans are absolutely pumped up. 43/1

8.3 OUT! CAUGHT! It was looking go broke or get out for Prabhsimran Singh and Krunal Pandya cashes in on it wonderfully. Pandya lands this one on a length and outside off, gets the ball to grip as this is bowled relatively slower. Singh comes dancing down the track and throws the kitchen sink at it, loses his shape and slices it up wide of point where Bhuvneshwar Kumar takes a good catch. Pandya is rewarded for some clever bowling and PBKS are now 72/2! 72/2

12.1 OUT! CAUGHT! This is not the World Championship by any means but two of Australia's greatest rivals - England and India - combine to dismiss an Aussie. Poor shot by Inglis, given the scenario. This was Krunal Pandya's last over and given that he has been the best bowler, Inglis could have played him out. But the ploy of wanting to attack the first ball of every over lures him and he has given his wicket and possibly, the match away. Flighted, closer to the batter's pads, Inglis jumps down the track and looks to go downtown. But he is not to the pitch of the ball and hence, gets no elevation. The ball travels flat towards long on where Liam Livingstone waits patiently and takes a super-cool catch just inside the ropes, ensuring that he does not touch the ropes. Krunal is all over the moon and RCB will feel that they have one hand and one leg on the trophy. Inglis departs for 39 (23) and Punjab Kings are 98/4 after 12.1 overs. They were 43/0 at one stage. 9.4 OUT! EDGED AND GONE! That is a massive wicket in the context of the game, but Shreyas Iyer seemed way too casual here and has paid a big price. Just a regulation, good-length delivery from Romario Shepherd, in the channel, a hint of nip away as well. Iyer hangs back, doesn't move his feet and just tries to cut. The ball catches the outside edge and goes straight into the gloves of Jitesh Sharma behind the stumps. Two quick wickets for RCB and Punjab are on the back foot here. In the finale night, Shreyas Iyer departs for just 1 (2) and PBKS have slipped down to 79/3 now. 79/3

16.2 OUT! CAUGHT! The pressure was mounting on Nehal Wadhera to go big, but the experience of Bhuvneshwar Kumar has won the duel here. Bhuvi goes full and wide again, angles it well across the off stump. Wadhera hangs back and tries to reach out and lash it over covers but ends up lofting it in front of deep point. Krunal Pandya charges in from the deep and takes a good catch. Punjab lose their 5th wicket now. 136/5

16.4 OUT! CAUGHT! 6 and out for Stoinis and the reactions from Shreyas Iyer seem to indicate that for the second time in his IPL career, he might have to end up second in the final. Full and wide outside off, probably a bit slower in pace, Marcus Stoinis throws his bat at it, going pretty hard. Only manages a thick outside edge which goes straight to Yash Dayal at short third. He makes no mistake and straightaway charges towards his bowler and the entire RCB team is cock-a-hoop! Stoinis comes and goes for 6 (2) and Punjab Kings slip from 136/4 to 142/6! 17.2 OUT! CAUGHT! Another one bites the dust and RCB can see the finishing line. Yash Dayal slips in a slower ball at 116.6 kph, bowling it on a length and angling it across off. Azmatullah Omarzai stays leg side of the ball and has to reach for it as he looks to swing across the line. Ends up slicing it just wide of short third where the substitute fielder, Manoj Bhandage takes a fairly simple catch. 145/7
