Sachin Tendulkar Pleased With Progress of Indian Sports
Sachin Tendulkar feels there is no shortage of talent in India but budding sportspersons need proper facilities to hone their skills.

Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar asserted Thursday that India has come up by leaps and bounds in sports recently, arousing a sense of satisfaction among top sportspersons of the country.
Tendulkar, who was in the city for inaugurating a state-of-the-art swimming pool at Rajarhat, was greeted with a garland of 34,000 roses.
"India is progressing really well in different sports and that is what gives a sportsman huge satisfaction, be it boxing, wrestling, archery or swimming," he said. (Also read: Sachin Tendulkar says his heart pained on hearing of Peshawar attacks)
He also said he believed there was talent on offer but the right facilities had to be provided.
"I am sure there is talent in our nation, just that we need to provide facilities," the 41-year-old former cricketer added.
Tendulkar has scored 100 international tons in his career.
