The 48-run partnership from UAE for the fourth wicket has been broken. Haris Rauf provides Pakistan the breakthrough by removing Dhruv Parashar. United Arab Emirates need 62 runs in 36 balls.

Shaheen Afridi strikes! It was a yorker delivery outside off-stump bowled at 141.3 kmph. Alishan Sharafu came down the track but Afridi bowled away from him. In an attempt to reach the ball, Sharafu got an inside edge that hit his off-stump.

Mohammad Nawaz gave it flight and Alishan Sharafu took full advantage of that. He jumped out of his crease and smashed it against the turn. It was a powerful shot and that comfortably went over the cow corner for a biggie. A dot ball followed. 13 runs came off hte over. 

A lower full toss from Shaheen Afridi on the final ball of the over but he is lucky that Muhammad Waseem failed to take advantage of that. The UAE captain just clipped it to square leg for a single. Six runs came off the over.

The chase has begun! A good length delivery from Shaheen Afridi outside off-stump and Alishan Sharafu has hit it away through the point for a four. Confident start for UAE this is! Shaheen, meanwhile, is not happy with his delivery.

Pakistan have set a 147-run target for UAE. Will it be enough for the side to beat the minnows? What might be a matter of trouble for Pakistan is the fact that their bowling is not at its best. They need to keep it tight in powerplay to make sure UAE don't threaten to take away the game.

18 runs came off the final over from Muhammad Rohid Khan. Shaheen Afridi started the over with two consecutive sixes and then followed them with a four. He scored 29 runs off 14 balls to help Pakistan post a repectable total against UAE.

Junaid Siddique got the wicket of Mohammad Haris on the fifth ball of the over. A total of 10 runs came off the over. Final six balls for Pakistan. How much can they get to?

Shaheen Afridi, who had played a quickfire knock vs India, has smashed this one down the ground for a four. It was a fuller ball from Junaid Siddique and Afridi hit it powerfully for the boundary. The fielder at mid-off had no chance there.

Junaid Siddique has got the wicket of Mohammad Nawaz. It was a slower ball outside off-stump and the southpaw tried to play a lofted shot on it. He miscued it and UAE captain Waseem took a brilliant catch running back.

Two consecutive fours from the bat of Mohammad Haris and Pakistan cross the mark of 100 runs. The first one went through extra cover while the second one went through mid-wicket. Simranjeet Singh bowled two poor deliveries and Haris took full advantage of that.

Simranjeet Singh strikes again. He has dismissed Khushdil Shah. He jumped out of his crease for a big one but found the fielder at deep mid-wicket. Pakistan are six down. This is the third one for Simranjeet.

Pakistan are in massive trouble here. They have lost the wicket of Hasan Nawaz. It was a front-foot defence from the Pakistan batter, but he missed the ball completely. Umpire raised his finger over the appeal and even a review could not save Hasan. Pakistan are in deep trouble here.

Fakhar Zaman raced to his half-century in 35 balls. He got there with a single on the final ball of the 13th over bowled by Dhruv Parashar and lost his wicket on the very next ball. Simranjeet Singh bowled a god length delivery and Fakhar ended up giving an easy catch to the fielder at extra cover.

That was pitched up but away from the batter, yet Fakhar Zaman used his reach to smash it down the ground for a biggie. It travelled a long way, 90 metres to be precise. Fakhar needs only two more runs to race to his fifty.

Salman Agha was lucky on the fifth ball of the over but he lost his wicket on the final delivery. Dhruv Parasha bowled a length delivery and kept it away from the batter. Agha played a lofted drive on it and found the fielder at deep cover.

Six runs came off the second over from Simranjeet Singh. Pakistan have made a brilliant recovery from 9 for 2. The duo of Fakhar Zaman and Salman Agha have stitched an unbeaten 58-run partnership off 44 balls.

That was an expensive over from Haider Ali. 11 runs came off it. Fakhar Zaman smashed two consecutive fours on the first two balls of the over. While the first one was due to a misfield in the deep at extra cover, the second one was through the backward point after Fakhar played a beautiful cut shot. 

Haider Ali bowled a five-run over and Simranjeet Singh followed it with a six-run over. Pakistan have made a good recovery with a stand of 41 runs off 32 balls for the third wicket. They now need to accelerate a bit.

A poor length ball from Muhammad Rohid Khan on the hips of Salman Agha. The Pakistan captain just glanced it for an easy four through the fine leg. Eight runs came off the over for Pakistan. They are building up.

That was pitched up from Dhruv Parashar and Fakhar Zaman muscled it for an 89-metre six. That went to wide of long-on. Zaman jumps out of his crease and slams it over the mid-on fielder this time for another six. Pakistan are on the move.

The United Arab Emirates could not have asked for a better start. While Junaid Siddique has been the wicket-taker for the side so far, Muhammad Rohid Khan has also bowled well, conceding only 10 runs in his two overs. Pakistan, on the other hand, need a solid partnership.

Another Pakistan batter departs and they are in massive trouble here. It was a good length ball onto the body of Sahibzada Farhan. The batter wanted to scoop it on the leg side but ended up finding a top-edge and got caught out in the deep.

Andy Pycroft, the match referee for tonight's game between Pakistan and UAE, first headed to the ICC headquarters and then returned to the stadium for the match. As per multiple reports, he will remain the referee for the game tonight despite Pakistan's request to ICC to remove him.

The Pakistan cricket team has reached the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The players have got out of the bus and they are taking their kits out of the vehicle. Out walks their captain Salman Ali Agha and rest of the players follow their skipper.

It was Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mohsin Naqvi who asked the players of the side to head to the Dubai International Cricket Stadium for the Asia Cup 2025 match against the United Arab Emirates. "We have asked the Pakistan team to depart for the Dubai Cricket Stadium. Further details to follow," the PCB chief wrote on X.

Match referee Andy Pycroft, who has been asked to be removed by the Pakistan Cricket Board, is heading to the ICC headquarter, as per Geo.tv. There is still no confirmation whether he will be a part of the Pakistan vs UAE match tonight.

The Pakistan cricket team bus has left the hotel for the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The official broadcaster for the game in India has confirmed that the match will be starting at 9 PM IST.

The Pakistan cricket team is now leaving the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The players have come out of their hotel rooms. They have travelled from Tower 1 to Tower 2 and they are now boarding the bus. 

As per a PTI report, the Pakistan cricket team is heading to the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. We continue to wait for the final confirmation regarding the match. As the Salman Agha-led side is reportedly reaching the stadium, the match might be played.

The Pakistan Cricket Board's spokesman has said that the match has been delayed by one hour. Well, if this is the case, we need to hold on for another 60 minutes for a final confirmation on the fate of the Pakistan vs UAE match, and also the furture of the Salman Agha-led side in the tournament.

Pakistan Cricket Board chief Mohsin Naqvi, who is also the president of Asian Cricket Council, is set to hold a press conference in Lahore soon. In the PC, we will get more clarity on the side's decision to pull out of Asia Cup.

Sources have confirmed NDTV that the Pakistan cricket team has pulled out of the Asia Cup 2025 over the handshake controversy during their match against the Indian cricket team. The Salman Agha-led side was set to face United Arab Emirates tonight in a must-win game but the match won't be taking place in this scenario.

As per Pakistani news channel Samaa TV, the players of the team have been asked to stay in their hotel rooms. It seems that Pakistan have pulled out out the event, we are waiting for official confirmation.

Pakistan Cricket Board's second mail to International Cricket Council (ICC) to remove Andy Pycroft as match referee in Asia Cup 2025 rejected, claimed a PTI report. Notably, this was the second similar request made by Pakistan following the 'no-handshake controversy' vs India. The first one was rejected and the second one has met the same fate.

The Pakistan cricket team players have not boarded the bus yet for the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, where they are set to play UAE. As per Times of India, the players have been stopped from doing so, even though their kits have already been put onto the bus.

Uncertainty continues to loom over Pakistan's further participation in the tournament.
