Ojha, Murali Vijay released from Indian squad

Spinner Pragyan Ojha and Tamil Nadu opener Murali Vijay have been released from the Indian Test squad to play for their states in the Ranji Trophy.

Spinner Pragyan Ojha and Tamil Nadu opener Murali Vijay, who are part of the 15-member Indian Test squad for the Sri Lanka series, have been released from the Indian Test squad to play for their states in the Ranji Trophy.

Both the players could not find place in the India playing XI against Sri Lanka in the first Test at Ahmedabad.

Tamil Nadu face Punjab in Amritsar, while Hyderabad take on Gujarat in the Ranji Trophy ties on Tuesday.
