Karachi:

Three members of the Indian team that crashed to a pathetic 100-run defeat to Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup final in Karachi on Sunday spent a night out on an elite Karachi beach just a day before the big game.

Incidentally, the three players -- Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma -- failed to make any worthwhile contributions to India's cause in the one-sided final.

Yuvraj, Raina and Rohit reportedly broke away from the team Friday evening and spent the night at the French Beach -- a popular resort for the city's reach on the Arabian Sea coast. Their other team-mates stayed back at the team hotel.

It seems that the little break did not really help the players to focus on their big game against the Sri Lankans.
