India to Play 3-Match Twenty20 Series vs Sri Lanka at Home
India and Sri Lanka last met in the final of the World Twenty20 in Dhaka in 2014 that MS Dhoni's team had lost.

India and Sri Lanka are scheduled to play a three-match Twenty20 international series in February. The series will be in preparation for the Asia Cup and the ICC World Twenty20 in March-April. (Click here for latest Cricket stories)
February 9 (Pune), February 12 (Delhi) and February 14 (Visakhapatnam) will host the India versus Sri Lanka matches, according to reports. India and Sri Lanka last played a Twenty20 international in the World Twenty20 final in Bangladesh in 2014. The Lankans beat MS Dhoni's team by six wickets with 13 balls remaining.
India are currently playing a limited-overs series in Australia. Trailing 4-0, India play Australia in the fifth and final ODI match in Sydney on Saturday. The ODIs will be followed by three twenty20s - January 26 (Adelaide), January 29 (Melbourne) and January 31 (Sydney). This is the first time a bilateral three-match twenty20 series is being played Down Under.
Sri Lanka recently lost a Twenty20 series in New Zealand 2-0. The upcoming India versus Sri Lanka series will prepare the teams for the Asia Cup in Bangladesh from February 24-March 6.
