While Elizabeth Hurley may have said recently that she will always have a special place for him in her heart, former Australian cricketer Shane Warne booked a special place - Crown's Club 23 - to celebrate his single status. His 'Full Moon Party' had, according to Australia's news.com.au, had close to 300 hand-picked guests including fellow cricketer Michael Clarke and former footballer Warwick Capper.
Warne and fiancee Hurley ended their relationship late last year and have since gone their separate ways. While Hurley has been dating hedge fund-tycoon-turned wildlife-photographer David Yarrow, Warne showed on Thursday night that he is not doing too bad either. Wine is believed to have flowed freely as Warne partied into the night with a long line of celebrity guests. While being single was not mandatory for the party, the status did come with its share of benefits. "I go with the flow and live in the moment," the host was quoted as saying.
Interestingly, proceeds from the event are believed to have been donated to the Shane Warne Charity Foundation which works for the betterment of underprivileged children and adolescents.
