IPL: Lord's to screen final in 3D
The last four IPL matches will be screened live with 3D effect in selected theatres across the country, IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi said on Thursday.

Modi, who visited visited several cinema houses including PVR Cinemas in suburban Mulund, told reporters that it would be the first time in the country that any sport event will be screened with 3D effect.
The four matches would be two-semi-finals, finals and the match for the third position.
"We have tied up with a California-based company for 3D effect, and the match would be relayed directly to the four theatres," Modi said.
However, he did not disclose the name of the theatres.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Gaikwad, CEO, UFO Moviez, said 3D will give a real-life experience to the viewers in the theatres and next IPL onwards all IPL matches will be on 3D.
