The pink cricket ball has been making headlines for a few years now. It has been in the testing phase for a long time and now, Australia and New Zealand are set to test it out in the day-night Test at Adelaide in November 2015.
A host of international players have tried playing with the pink ball. Among them was India's ODI skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni during India's recent tour to Australia in 2014-15. Dhoni has apparently tested the pink ball at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) after the end of the opening game between India and Australia in a trial held by Channel Nine. In a video released by Cricket Australia, Dhoni - who likes rolling his arm over - is seen bowling with the pink ball to a local batsmen. (Pink Ball Set for Debut as Australia Host First Day-Night Test)
India have been a country that has resisted the use of the Decision Review System (DRS) for long but will they resist the usage of the pink ball?
