Kumble, Dravid arrive in Bangalore

Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid and RP Singh arrived in Bangalore on Sunday to take part in the six-day conditioning camp.

Bangalore:

India Test captain Anil Kumble, batsman Rahul Dravid and speedster RP Singh arrived here on Sunday to take part in the six-day conditioning camp to be held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, venue of the first of the four-Test series against Australia, beginning on October 9.

The probables would undergo training from on Monday under the watchful eyes of National Cricket Academy Chief Dav Whatmore.

Later on Sunday star batsmen Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman and other members of the squad are expected to arrive barring those who will be taking part in the President's XI four-day practice game against the Aussies starting October 2.

The squad for the first two Tests would be announced during this week.
