South Africa allrounder Jacques Kallis should be fit for Friday's one-off Twenty20 game against India, which has been organized in his honor.
South Africa team manager Mohammed Moosajee said on Wednesday that Kallis had fully recovered from the neck spasm that kept him out of the third and final Test in New Zealand this week.
Moosajee said the injury to the 36-year-old Kallis was "just wear and tear" and he should be available for the game at the Wanderers where the hosts will acknowledge Kallis' contribution to South African cricket.
South Africa is resting its entire Test squad for the T20 game with the exception of Kallis and left-arm seamer Lonwabo Tsotsobe. South Africa's test players only flew in from their tour of New Zealand on Wednesday. India arrived earlier the same day.
