Organisers of the Indian Premier League allegedly owe Maharasthra Police a sum of Rupees 4.5 crores, according to recent reports.
The Maharsahtra Police provided security cover for six matches played at the DY Patil Stadium between April and March last year. It, however, is yet to receive the amount due to be paid by the IPL authorities.
It has been learnt that of the Rs 4.5 crore, only a small fraction of Rs 47.53 has been paid.
