India's cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who led the team to a World Cup win after 28 years, turned 30 on Thursday.

Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni turns 30 on July 7. Dhoni, who was born in Ranchi in 1981, had a fantastic last year, leading Team India to a World Cup win for the first time in 28 years and also taking his IPL team Chennai Super Kings to a 2nd successive title.(Pics: Dhoni phenomenon completes 30 years )

Things look as good on the personal front. Just recently on July 4, Dhoni celebrated his first marriage anniversary with wife Sakshi. The marriage is going strong and the couple looks very much in love, with Sakshi accompanying Dhoni to many of his matches and tours. His stock in the ad world is also high and rocketing.
And while he may be turning 30, there are no signs of him slowing down despite the the overload of cricket. He in fact, looks set to enjoy at least another couple of years at the top. Here's wishing the skipper lots more luck and success on his birthday.
