Gill was looking very solid out there and looked to be running away to a big score has been sent packing for 52, right in the first over after the Lunch break. Kyle Jamieson has been right on the money throughout the game so far and he follows the same template here. He serves it on a length, in the fourth stump channel, with a hint of inward movement. Shubman Gill looks to push this to the off side but the inward movement ensures that the ball kisses the inside edge and crashes into the furniture behind. Gill trudges back this time and the Kiwis have struck at the right time!  82/2

37.4 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Another wicket falls down and India lose their third. The outswinger has been a delivery that has troubled him in the past and the same delivery proves to be his undoing here. A good start by Pujara but his good work has been cut short. Tim Southee hurls across a good-length delivery, around the fourth stump channel now, the ball lands and shapes away a touch. Cheteshwar Pujara is tempted to put bat on ball and hangs his bat in defense. The outside edge is induced and Tom Blundell behind the stumps does the rest.  106/3

49.2 OUT! DRAGGED ON! Well, Ajinkya Rahane doesn't survive for too long. Kyle Jamieson has the last laugh. He has been phenomenal throughout and bags his third wicket now. Good-length delivery, outside off. Ajinkya Rahane tries to cut it off the back foot but is undone by the lack of bounce perhaps. He only manages to get an inside edge and the ball goes on to shatter the stumps. Kyle Jamieson breaks the partnership that was looking good but more importantly, gets the prized wicket of Ajinkya Rahane who was looking in good touch.  145/4

The break has worked for the Kiwis and they have gotten the centurion, Iyer. Could have easily had both, Ashwin and Iyer in the last two balls but they will be pretty pleased with this wicket and also how things have gone so far this morning. They are now into the bowlers. A loose stroke by Iyer. Probably lapse in concentration there. Southee's ploy though of bowling it outside off works again. It is another driving-length delivery. Probably a little behind that length. Holds in the surface a touch. Iyer is early in the drive, it goes straight into the hands of the cover fielder and Will Young takes it. 87 OUT! BOWLED! Chopped on! Southee delivers for his skipper. On a length, just outside off. Jadeja has his feet glued to the crease as he looks to block it. The ball comes back in with the angle, takes the inside edge and then crashes onto the stumps! A brilliant start for the Kiwis and they would want to take a couple of more wickets. Actually, just before this ball was bowled, the fielder at square leg was pushed back towards the fence. That could have had Jadeja anticipating a shorter ball. His feet were glued to the crease here and that field positioning could well be the reason! Good tactics by the Kiwis!  266/5

92.2 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Good catch behind the sticks but this has been a brilliant spell by Southee! He kept bowling on the stumps to Saha and this time, he serves a full one, outside off. Saha's eyes lit up and he goes for the drive. But the ball nips away just enough to get the outside edge. Tom Blundell dives to his right and takes it. Southee has been on fire for the Kiwis in this session.  288/6

Another peach of a delivery. Length, gets it to tail back in initially. Patel plays the original trajectory. Southee gets it to straighten after landing. 66.1 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! The stand finally ends and Ravichandran Ashwin is the one to provide with the breakthrough! Fuller again, outside off. Young tentatively looks to block it but fails. Srikar Bharat gathers the ball behind the stumps and the fielders start celebrating. The umpire is unmoved but Bharat is convinced and convinces Rahane to go upstairs. 85.3 OUT! THREE REDS AND INDIA STRIKE AT THE STROKE OF LUNCH! Big, big wicket and the second new ball has worked. Also, to get a pacer on from one end has proved to be a good idea. Umesh Yadav runs in, lands it around off and gets it to jag back in. Williamson is glued to his crease as he tries to put bat on ball. Misses and gets hit on the pads. An appeal and the finger is raised. Williamson reviews. Time for the replays and Ball Tracker shows three reds. New Zealand lose a review. Also, this will really lift the morale of the Indian side. 96.5 OUT! IMPACT IS UMPIRE'S CALL! What Nicholls thought could save him does not. New Zealand lose another and all of a sudden they are in a spot of bother. They still trail by over 120 runs. One brings two for Axar Patel! This is fuller and it lands on off and turns back in. Nicholls looks to sweep but misses. He gets hit on the pads. A huge appeal and the finger is raised. Nicholls probably feels he has got hit outside the line of off and reviews. Replays roll in and they show the on-field call stays. New Zealand do not lose a review but they do lose a batter. 123.4 OUT! TIMBER! That is unplayable! Probably Tom Blundell could have played ahead to that delivery but can't really blame him, it just never got up. Flatter and on middle, Blundell hangs back and tries to defend, this one does not bounce at all. It sneaks under the bat and hits the stumps. Axar has hit 4th. Blundell was playing really well but can't do a lot with that delivery. The stand which was frustrating India has been broken. New Zealand still trail by 87. Tim Southee is the next batter.  258/7

19.2 OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Number 4 down and Southee gets his first! The morning session keeps getting better for the visitors. Southee has his 50th Test wicket against India. What a delivery! How skillful is this guy! The last delivery, landed on a similar length but then, it went on with the angle, Agarwal played a forward defensive stroke and it hit the middle. This time, it lands on a similar area, that is on a length and around off, moves away after pitching. Agarwal looks to do the same, he tries to play the original trajectory. The movement does him in though, it goes off the outside edge to the man at second slip. Latham makes no mistake.  51/4

1.1 OUT! TIMBER! 50th Test wicket for Kyle Jamieson! He just continues to impress. Strikes on the very first ball, just the start his side wanted. The half centurion of the first innings falls for just a single run. Kyle Jamieson is also the fastest to 50 wickets in Tests for the Kiwis. Right on the money from the word go. Length and on off, jags back in a touch. Gill probably should be coming forward on a wicket that is not bouncing a lot. His feet though are glued to the crease. He looks to defend it half-heartedly. It sneaks past the bat, clips the pad and hits the stumps. Kyle Jamieson is delighted. There is still time for another wicket.  2/1

11.1 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Kyle Jamieson strikes early! Short ball, down the leg side. Cheteshwar Pujara looks to leave it alone. Tom Blundell gathers it and is up in arms and so is Kyle Jamieson. But the umpire is unmoved. The keeper and bowler convince Kane Williamson to take the review. There is a spike on UltraEdge as the ball passes the gloves! Pujara has to walk back now.  32/2

14.5 OUT! LBW! PLUMB IN FRONT! Tossed up, lands on off and comes in with the angle. Rahane plays for the turn and looks to block. The ball hits his pad right in front of the stumps and the finger goes up. Rahane has a word with Agarwal but decides not to review it. That looked dead straight, to be honest. Rahane's poor run of form continues.  41/3

60.2 OUT! TAKEN! Shreyas Iyer has been strangled down the leg side. Yet again, it is Tim Southee who manages to provide the breakthrough. Much-needed wicket as the two were taking the game away. End of another top knock from Iyer. He will be disappointed with the way he got out but he will be pleased with the innings he has played. It is a short one, down the leg side, Iyer looks to pull, it does not bounce as much as he thought it would. It goes off the glove and the keeper, Tom Blundell, takes it inches above the ground. Iyer starts walking. The umpires want to check if it has carried and take it upstairs. Replays show it has. Iyer walks back and so do the other players as it is TEA ON DAY 4!  167/7

19.4 OUT! LBW! Three reds and Jadeja has to walk back! Not sure why he took the review there. That was plumb if there was no bat. Southee has two in the over and India have their backs against the walls now. They are effectively 100 for 5. Well, they could be 100 for 6 as we don't know if Wriddhiman Saha is going to bat. The swing proves to be the undoing of an Indian batter again. Southee goes full, gets it to tail back in nicely from outside off. Jadeja plants his front foot way too across, he then tries to flick but misses. It hits the back pad. Southee is celebrating as he appeals. The finger is raised. After a chat with Iyer, Jadeja reviews. To no avail though. He takes a review along with him.  51/5

39.2 OUT! BOWLED! The stand ends and Kyle Jamieson is the man to provide with the wicket! Short of a length, outside off. Ashwin has his feet glued to the crease and looks to punch it away. But all he gets is the inside edge which goes back on the pads and then rolls back onto the stumps! The move to bring back Kyle Jamieson works well for New Zealand. But Rachin Ravindra and Tim Southee should also get the credit for the way they kept things tight. Wriddhiman Saha walks out to bat.  103/6

Is that the opening that gets India back in the game? We will see. We surely have an interesting phase of cricket coming up in the next couple of hours. Also, with that wicket, Ravichandran Ashwin has gone past Harbhajan Singh's tally of 417 wickets for India in Tests. Ross Taylor is the next batter.  118/3

3 OUT! LBW! Will Young runs out of time to review it! Tossed up, this lands outside off. Stays low and comes back in. Young looks to block but gets hit on the pads. The finger is raised. Young has a chat with Latham and it is a long chat. The timer runs out and then Young shows the sign for a review. The Indian fielders immediately point that out and the umpire too, is aware of it and denies the review. OH MY, MY! The ball was spinning down the leg stumps! If only Young had been a bit quicker to review. Early wicket for India, they would love another one too.  3/1

35.1 OUT! TAKEN! What a catch that is! What a start that is for India after the break! Not sure what they had for lunch but whatever it was, has worked. Credit though to Gill. The wicket has been taken by Yadav but it is Gill who needs to be credited. First ball after a break, you probably would be on your heels as a fielder but that is not the case here, excellent effort and an excellent take. Yadav, from around the wicket, bangs it short and on the body. William Somerville takes on the challenge of pulling it, he hits it uppishly towards fine leg. Gill rushes in, dives forward and takes it inches above the ground. The Indians are delighted. William Somerville walks back after playing a gritty knock. The nightwatchman surely did his job. However, this will lift the Indian spirits.  79/2

69.1 OUT! LBW! SUPERSTAR JADEJA DOES IT! He gets the biggest wicket for India! Shorter ball, around off. It comes in with the angle. No spin whatsoever. The trick here is that it stays very, very low. Kane Williamson decides to go back and that proves his undoing. The ball hits him on the pads and Ravindra Jadeja brings out the celebrappeal! The umpire has no doubt and raises the finger.  128/6

63.1 OUT! LBW! Ravindra Jadeja strikes just at the stroke of Tea and it is Ross Taylor who walks back to the hut! He never looked comfortable out in the middle and his struggle against left-arm spinners continues. Jadeja bowls it quicker through the air and lands it around off, the ball goes on with the angle. Taylor gets forward to block but he misses and gets trapped in front. Jadeja puts in an appeal and the umpire raises his finger in no time! Huge wicket this for India as New Zealand lose their fourth wicket. That will be Tea on Day 5!  125/4

Nicholls plays for a bit of turn and blocks down the wrong line. The ball goes onto hit his pads right in front of the stumps and the finger goes up! The review is taken in hope but there is no bat on that the ball is crashing on the stumps. Tom Blundell walks out to bat.  126/5

78.2 OUT! TIMBER! That is one of the strangest dismissals seen! Blundell can consider himself a tad unlucky. India won't care though as they are now in the bowling all-rounders. Just the three wickets away now with over 15 overs left. This is an off spinner. It lands on off and turns back in. Blundell looks to defend, it hits the inner half, lands beside him but on a footmark, it spins back onto the stumps and clips the leg bail. He can't believe what has just happened. Shakes his head as he walks back. Just like the first innings, he was looking solid but falls in an unfortunate manner.  138/7

Kyle Jamieson lunges forward to defend but does so inside the line. It goes past the outside edge and hits the back pad. A huge appeal and the finger is raised. 89.2 OUT! THREE REDS! Jadeja has his 4th and India are just the one wicket away now. Southee was halfway back towards the pavillion when he saw the replay. That was dead. This lands on middle and then straightens. Southee hangs back and looks to defend. It goes past the outside edge and hits the back pad. Jadeja is celebrating as he appeals. The finger is raised. Southee reviews and replays show that New Zealand lose yet another review. India can now sniff a win here.  155/9
