The Hyderabad Cricket Association is keen on roping in Manoj Prabhakar as their chief coach for the next season but former India all-rounder is yet to take a call on accepting the offer.
The decision to appoint Prabhakar as the coach was taken at an executive committee meeting of the Hyderabad Cricket Association chaired by association president and former India offie Arshad Ayub.
"Yes, Arshad has contacted and they want me to coach Hyderabad next season. He is a dear friend, but I haven't yet decided on taking up the offer. I will take a call on the next two days," Prabhakar who has a two-year contract as the chief coach of Delhi told PTI on Saturday.
Although Prabhakar doesn't want to go on record, sources close to him confirmed that he has felt "insulted" due to DDCA not even contacting him about the upcoming season.
However if DDCA decides to persist with Prabhakar then he may end up refusing HCA's offer.
