Pujara taps this length ball down in front of point. He looks at his captain and then takes off. Suddenly in between, Virat Kohli decides to bail out seeing the debutant Ollie Pope rush to the ball. Kohli gets back inside the crease, leaving Che hanging and Pope has all the time in the world to take the bails off. Ravi Shastri is seen with an unimpressed look on his face. Terrible stuff.  15/3

21.4 OUT! His luck finally runs out! This is a big wicket for Woakes and England. Woakes comes from wide of the crease and angles in a full ball on off, it swings away late as Kohli looks to flick it away on the leg side. That becomes his undoing as the ball goes off the edge and flies behind towards Jos Buttler at second slip who makes no mistake when moving to his right. Kohli will be feeling that, more especially since he got Pujara run out earlier. Not good for India. Not at all.  49/4

29.4 OUT! Jimmy does what Jimmy does best. Was brought on to get a wicket and a wicket he does get. Superb. Conditions are somewhat overcast, so he gets swing. Enough of it at least. Lands it fuller outside off, Rahane prods forward to defend but gets an edge due to the slight away movement. Behind to Alastair Cook at first slip who collects it in his palms. 23.3 OUT! Gone this time! That dropped chance hasn't cost England anything. Buttler first dropped Kohli and caught Kohli on the next ball, same here with Hardik. Length ball on middle and off, straightening up after angling in, Pandya hangs his bat to defend and it goes off the edge. Straight to Jos at second slip who gets low and takes it this time. 24.2 OUT! BOWLED 'EM! From no movement to so much in the space of a few minutes. First Woakes, now Curran. Perfect left-armer's delivery to a right-hander. Fires it full and swings it back in. Karthik loosely drives away from his body and gets an inside edge. Back onto the stumps and they are shattered. He walks back and takes that calm head of his back to the pavilion with him. Curran jumps and celebrates with a fist pump.  62/6

34.2 OUT! There was bat involved, but it came after it went off the pad. Ashwin is a dead duck. Full, fast and swinging back in from around off, Ashwin looks to drive this away but is caught on the front pad. Loud appeal, the finger goes up and instantly the batsman takes the review, probably as he thinks the inside edge will save him. The TV umpire comes into play and replays show that the ball goes off the pad first, and then the bat. So India's highest-scorer in this innings is gone.  96/9

34 OUT! Never in doubt. Anderson was trying this in this over. Just brings it back in straighter and swings it in. Kuldeep Yadav looks to flick but is rapped flush on the pad in front of the stumps. Big appeal and the finger goes up. Kuldeep, for the sake of it, since there are two anyway, takes a review. It's taken upstairs and replays show all three reds ticked.  96/8

35.2 OUT! 26th Test 5-fer for James Anderson! He walks off the field with the ball in his hand. Takes his cap off, waves to the crowd and acknowledges their support. Beautiful bowling. Length ball on off, coming in and then going away. Ishant Sharma is squared up as he looks to defend but is caught on the back pad. Big shout and the finger goes up. 8.2 OUT! That is another beauty, this time from the bowler and Cook is out of here! Massive, massive wicket for India. The former English captain might not be in the greatest of form but once he digs in, he can cause lot of problems to the opposition. And he was just beginning to dig in. But from nowhere, Ishant hits that perfect length in the corridor of uncertainty. Alastair looks to defend but the ball moves away a wee bit and takes the outside edge. Karthik makes no mistake. So from being seemingly listless on the field, India have gone bang, bang. Mr. Goa Rocks must be feeling happier now. (Psst... check his frustration in the opening over).  32/2

7.3 OUT! Stone dead and England have lost a review. Did not particularly seem any need to get a second opinion on that, unless Cook thought it might be umpire's call, just to keep the reviews intact. Anyways, he is not that successful. Full and straight, angled in from around the wicket, Jennings plays all over it, getting beaten by the length and misses. Is hit flush on the pads and up goes umpire Aleem Dar's finger on the appeal. Keaton walks over towards Cook and after a bit of a discussion, signals for the review. Not much time wasted on technology as it shows three reds. Jennings' poor form continues for England - after his century on debut at the Wankhede in 2016 against India, he has managed only 272 runs in 15 innings at an average of under 20 with just one half century.  28/1

24.4 OUT! Mohammed Shami strikes gold right at the stroke of Lunch. Virat Kohli brought him back for one final burst before the break and he's provided just what was needed. The all-important wicket of Joe Root. Though, he was struggling quite a bit out there. Some luck here too as Shami bowls it on a back of a length around off, it cuts back in and stays low too. Root can't bring his bat down in time and a loud appeal goes up. Umpire Marais Erasmus wastes no time in raising his finger and the Indians celebrate. LUNCH ON DAY 3!  89/4

21.2 OUT! Hardik Pandya strikes! He finally has a wicket in Test cricket after 351 balls. His last wicket came in Cape Town back in January. Superb delivery, this. He generates some good pace on this as he lands it on a length around off. Angles it in and it skids off the surface a bit as well. Ollie Pope is caught flush in front of the stumps as he tries to play across the line and a loud appeal goes up. The finger follows soon and Pope reviews after a chat with his skipper. It's taken upstairs and replays show that all three reds are ticked. Brilliant. Hardik deserves this wicket, he's been bowling quite well till now. England have lost both their reviews. Needless on both occasions. Should never have been taken, given the decisions were so straightforward.  77/3

74.4 OUT! The end of a drought for India in overcast conditions! Look at the irony. What a brilliant catch from Dinesh Karthik! Fuller length ball outside off, Bairstow goes at it with hard hands with minimal foot movement and gets a fat outside edge. Karthik like a goalkeeper lines it up and flies to take a stunner with his right hand. A sad end to a good knock from Jonny as he misses out on his ton. End of the 189-run stand from 261 balls. An association which has firmly put England on the front foot. Can India clean up the lower order in a jiffy though?  320/6

Full and swinging back in, Jos walks across to flick it again but this time maybe does it a little too much. Gets caught low on the pads and a big appeal is made. The finger goes up and rightly so too, because that looks plumb. England have half their side back in the pavilion.  131/5

2.2 OUT! It is that man, Anderson, who has once again come to haunt India! After taking a fifer in the first innings, he has come out firing on all cylinders this time too. Bowls a fuller length ball in the tight off stump corridor and gets it to cut back in appreciably. Vijay comes forward tentatively to defend it but there is a slight gap between his bat and pad. The ball takes the inside edge of his bat and carries through to Jonny Bairstow. Vijay bags a pair which also happens to be his first in Test matches. Jimmy jumps in delight along with his mates. This is his 550th Test wicket and also his 100th at Lord's. Holds the red cherry in his right hand and gets a standing ovation from the Lord's crowd.  0/1

6.1 OUT! Rahul's poor tour continues! It is all looking gloomy for India while England are reigning supreme under dark clouds. Fuller length ball around off, hits the deck and angles in sharply. Rahul shuffles a touch but falls over a bit in an attempt to flick it across. Misses and is hit flush in front of the stumps. Jimmy rises up in a vociferous appeal and umpire Aleem Dar obliges. KL shakes his head and keeps on walking as he goes past Pujara. Seems dead on this occasion so no point in making use of the technology. The Hawk Eye also confirms that. 26.5 OUT! Bowled 'em! What a cracker from Stuart Broad to get rid of the solid Cheteshwar Pujara. He literally had no clue about it. Broad goes wide of the crease and bowls a full length ball around off. It swings in like a banana and Pujara is caught off guard. Tries to bring his bat down to defend the ball but is beaten by the massive movement and by the pace as well. It brushes his pads and crashes into the stumps. Cheteshwar walks back with a blank expression. A hard-fought knock from him has been nipped in the bud. India are still behind by 239 and only have 6 wickets in hand.  50/4

19 OUT! Broad strikes! After playing pretty well, Rahane has gifted his wicket away. This was not needed at all, he will be kicking himself. Full length ball well outside off, swinging away. Rahane plays away from the body and pushes at it. Ends up getting a thick outside edge towards third slip. Jennings remains cool and takes a good catch to his left. Buttler at second slip had got low to his right in case Keaton dropped it.  35/3

30.3 OUT! There is deviation this time, off the glove and Kohli has to depart! Broad is smiling big time. A short ball again, around middle, Kohli looks to tuck but the ball goes off his thigh pads towards the deepish short leg fielder. Ollie Pope dives forward and claims the catch and umpire Aleem Dar immediately raises his finger. Kohli takes the review immediately with a big smile across his face. But boy, Snickometer detects a deviation when the ball goes off the glove. The decision stays as it is again and Kohli has to walk back. Perhaps, not bad from India's point of view. He was struggling big time with his back and hamstring and needed rest. But India well...  61/5

42.1 OUT! And Woakes strikes immediately on his return to the attack. Comes charging in and bowls an inswinger on middle. Keeps coming in and raps Hardik Pandya on the front pad as he misses his defense. Big shout, the umpire remains unmoved but the English camp doesn't agree with that. No time is wasted and the DRS is taken. The TV umpire is called into action and replays show that all three reds are ticked. No height, no missing leg... nothing. Pandya is gone and India are staring down the barrel of an embarrasing victory.  116/7

30.4 OUT! UMPIRE'S CALL! Well, who is on a roll? Not just Stuart Broad, but Aleem Dar as well. Third decision of his has been retained in a row, on successive balls. A golden duck for Karthik. Full and outside off, swinging in a long way, Dinesh gets a bit of a stride forward and looks to defend but is beaten by the massive inswing. He is hit on the pads and Dar raises his finger in a flash once more. Karthik has a bit of a chat with Pandya and then signals for the 'T'. Ummm... 43.4 OUT! Bowled 'em! The inswinger got him in the first innings too, where he was caught leg before, and now, his stumps are shattered. Full and coming back in, around off, Kuldeep goes for the cover drive but leaves quite a bit of gap between bat and pad. It takes the inside edge and crashes into the furniture behind. England just 2 wickets away from a victory now.  121/8

45.1 OUT! England inch closer to victory. Wouldn't have mattered in the grand scheme of things, but maybe India could have delayed the inevitable if Shami had taken the review. Seemed like the impact would be outside off. Anyway, Jimmy bowls it full and angles it in around off, Shami looks to clear London with a big swing, probably towards long on. He misses and is caught on the back pad. Loud appeal and umpire Erasmus raises his finger. Ahh... okay... Hawk Eye shows the impact to be umpire's call. So the decision would have stayed.  125/9

47 OUT! No need for Adil Rashid who will receive wages for this match for just featuring in it. There's the final nail in the coffin. ENGLAND WIN BY AN INNINGS AND 159 RUNS! A comprehensive victory for them, a deal which is sealed, rightly, by Chris Woakes. Curls it back in on middle and leg, Ishant Sharma moves inside the line and flicks it aerially down the leg side. A leg slip is in place and Ollie Pope there does well to dive to his right and take the catch.  130/10
