Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) defeated St Lucia Zouks by 8 wickets, after being set a target of 155 runs in the final of the 2020 edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Lendl Simmons (84*) and Darren Bravo (58*) scored unbeaten half-centuries to help TKR emerge victorious in a comprehensive manner, after bowling out the Zouks for 154. Earlier, skipper Kieron Pollard was the pick of the bowlers for TKR, accounting for four dismissals with Ali Khan and Fawad Ahmed picking two wickets apiece. Andre Fletcher was the highest run-scorer for the Zouks, scoring 39 off 27 deliveries. TKR did not enjoy the services of all-rounder Sunil Narine, who was ruled out due to injury.Â
