BCCI Denies Spending Rs 3.90 Crore on Justice R M Lodha Committee
Reacting to a report which said that the BCCI has already spent Rs 3.90 crore for the Supreme Court-appointed Justice R M Lodha committee set up to suggest reforms in the cricket board in the wake of the recent spot fixing scandal, the BCCI said that the news was "wholly false and concocted".

The BCCI on Friday said that it has not spent Rs 3.90 crore on the Justice R M Lodha committee but "less than a 10th" of that amount.
Reacting to a report which said that the BCCI has already spent Rs 3.90 crore for the Supreme Court-appointed Lodha committee set up to suggest reforms in the cricket board in the wake of the recent spot fixing scandal, the BCCI said that the news was "wholly false and concocted". "Over the last 4 months since its formation, the Committee has had more than a dozen sittings in various parts of the country and the amount spent is less than a tenth of what has been misreported," the Board said in a statement. (BCCI Mulls Mini-IPL in Place of CLT20)
PTI had inadvertently reported on Thursday that the BCCI had already spent Rs 3.90 crore for the Supreme appointed Justice Lodha committee.
