Vadodara:
On a high after a successful ODI series against Sri Lanka, the Baroda trio of Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan and Munaf Patel on Wednesday said they were confident of continuing the fine form during the tour of New Zealand as well.
While Munaf has made it to all three - Test, ODI and Twenty20 - sides, Irfan and Yusuf could only make the ODI and T20 squad.
"After performing well in the Sri Lankan tour, our confidence has swelled. The performances with the ball and the bat have improved and will continue to do so in New Zealand," all-rounder Irfan Pathan told reporters at the Harni airport, from where the trio left for Mumbai.
The three cricketers, who were representing Baroda in the ongoing Ranji one-dayers, will depart for New Zealand early Thursday morning, with the rest of the squad, after attending the Cricket Board's annual awards function in Mumbai this evening.
India will play two Twenty20 matches, five one-dayers and three Test matches during the tour of New Zealand starting February 25.
