# India have moved back to number one in the ICC ODI ranking.

# England have won two and lost two out of four ODIs played vs Australia at WACA Perth.

# Overall, England have won nine and lost four out of 13 played at WACA, Perth.

# England (316/8) have registered their first total of 300 or more in ODIs at WACA, Perth, outstripping the 272 for six vs Australia on January 1, 1987.

# England's aforesaid total is their second highest in Australia in ODIs - the highest being 333 for six vs Australia at Sydney on February 2, 2011.

# Overall, four totals of 300 or more have been recorded by England in Australia in ODIs - three vs Australia and one vs Sri Lanka.

# Ben Stokes (70 off 84 balls) has recorded his maiden fifty in ODIs, obliterating the 27 off 25 balls at Southampton on September 16, 2013.

# Stokes' aforesaid innings is his second highest in 20 innings in international cricket, next only to the 120 off 195 balls in the 2013-14 Perth Test.

# Stokes has received his first Man of the Match award in ODIs.

# Ian Bell (55 off 52 balls) has posted his 29th fifty in ODIs - his eighth vs Australia.

# Since posting 64 off 47 balls vs New Zealand at Cardiff on June 16, 2013, Alastair Cook (44 off 43 balls) has recorded his highest score in six innings in ODIs. The said innings is his highest score in four innings in Australia in ODIs.

# Cook's aggregate of 2084 (ave.41.68) in 53 innings is the second highest by an England captain in ODIs, next only to Andrew Strauss' tally of 2367 (ave.39.45) in 62 innings.

# Cook and Bell were involved in a stand of 87 for the first wicket - England's highest for this wicket-position vs Australia at Perth in ODIs, bettering the 86 between Chris Broad and Bill Athey on January 1, 1987.

# The aforesaid partnership is the second highest for the first wicket for England at Perth in ODIs, next only to the 104 between Chris Broad and Bill Athey vs Pakistan on January 5, 1987.

# Bell and Cook have recorded two century stands and 10 between 50 and 99 in 32 innings for the first wicket, equalling the twelve (4 100-plus and 8 between 50 and 99 in 43 innings) for the opening wicket between Nick Knight and Marcus Trescothick in ODIs.

# Eoin Morgan, with 243 runs at an average of 60.75 in four innings, is the top run-getter for England in the present series. His tally includes a hundred and two fifties.

# Jos Buttler (71 off 43 balls) has posted his first fifty in ODIs away from home.

# Buttler's aforesaid innings is his third fifty in ODIs - all three vs Australia.  His magnificent knock is the highest by England's number seven batsman in England in ODIs.

# Buttler's 71 is the second highest by an England batsman vs Australia at WACA, Perth, next only to the 76 off 113 balls by Chris Broad on January 1, 1987.

# Butler (71 + five dismissals) has become the fifth wicketkeeper to post a fifty and effect five dismissals in the same ODI, joining England's Adam Gilchrist (four times), England's Geraint Jones, West Indian, Ridley Jacobs and Scotland's Colin Smith.

# Mitchell Johnson (10-0-72-0) has registered his worst bowling performance vs England in ODIs.

# Johnson's aforesaid figures are his worst in terms of runs conceded in ODIs in Australia.

# James Faulkner (4/67) has produced his second instance of four wickets in an innings in ODIs - his career-best being 4 for 48 vs West Indies at Canberra on February 6, 2013.

# Aaron Finch (108 off 111 balls) has posted his third hundred in ODIs - his second vs England.  The said hundred is his first in a losing cause in ODIs.

# Finch is the first Australian opener to register a century vs England at WACA, Perth.  The only other Australian batsman to hit a hundred vs England in ODIs at this venue is Dean Jones - 104 off 125 balls on January 1, 1987.

# Finch, with 251 runs at an average of 62.75 in four matches, is the top run-getter in the current bilateral series.  His tally includes two hundreds.

# Ben Stokes (70 + 4/39) is the third all-rounder to accomplish the double of a fifty plus and three wickets in an ODI at Perth. Steve Waugh (Australia) had posted 82 and took four for 48 vs Pakistan on January 2, 1987 and Pakistan's Abdul Razzaq - 63 and four for 53 vs Australia January 30, 2005.
