India's Saina Nehwal has won the Philippines Open Badminton Championship in Manila.
The Hyderbadi teenager defeated Malaysia's Julia Xian Pei Wong 21-15 22-20 to win the women's singles title.
With this win, sixteen-year-old Saina, who is ranked 86th in the world, becomes the first Indian woman to win a four-star badminton event.
