Saina Nehwal, who won her third Indonesia Open Super Series title on Sunday, shared her plans for the London Olympics at a felicitation ceremony in Hyderabad.
Saina: I am here because of my co-players who have given me such wonderful practice. Happy to win Indonesia Open and Thailand Open. It will give me the confidence to train for the Olympics.
Saina: Badminton will become one of the best sports in India.
Saina: I was dead on the court after such long matches. And that's Happy to pull out of such matches. It will be tougher in Olympics. I will have to work really really hard.
Saina: Indonesia Open quarterfinal was like a final for me. I was lucky on that day. I can't believe I played such long matches. I am happy to recover well for the final match. It was really nice. All opponents were tough.
Saina: I thanked God for giving me such stamina.
Saina: I feel like a champion when I enter the court in Indonesia. 7000 people cheer for me even when I play against an Indonesian.
Saina: I need to work on some areas. It will be some tough five-six weeks for me.
Saina: Thailand Open was a confidence booster for me.
Saina: It's important for me to be in good shape for the Olympics.
Saina: I want to thank Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Chief Minister of Haryana for congratulating me.
Saina: I am just happy to play against Chinese players. I have lost against most of them. I want to do well.
