China Masters: Saina to meet Goto in Round 2

Beijing Olympics quarter-finalist Saina Nehwal will look to shrug off last week's disappointing first-round exit at the Japan Super Series when she takes on Japanese counterpart Ai Goto in the second round of the China Masters Super Series 2008 in Changzhou on Thursday.
The 18-year-old badminton player from Hyderabad got a bye in the first round and will lock horns with Goto who defeated Charmaine Reid of Canada 21-10, 21-10 in a lopsided match on Wednesday.
Saina became the first Indian shuttler to win two Grand Prix singles titles when she won the Chinese Taipei earlier this month but the euphoria did not last long as she crashed out of the Yonex Japan Super Series with a straight-game defeat.
Currently ranked 12 in the world, Saina won her first Grand Prix -- the Phillipines open -- in 2006.
