India's Anju Bobby George will feature in the finals of the women's News now from the World Athletics Championship at Osaka.

India's Anju Bobby George will feature in the finals of the women's News now from the World Athletics Championship at Osaka.
She jumped a distance of 6.60 metres to qualify in 11th place out of 12 finalists. She will now have to raise her performance considerably in order to win a medal.
The top five qualifiers all jumped more than 6.80 metres event.
Anju won a bronze in the 2003 World championships in Paris with a jump of 6.70 metres.
Her effort in Osaka is also far below her personal best of 6.83 metres.
