Erwin breaks World Record

Santiago:

Chilean marathon runner Erwin Valdebenito ran 250 km in 24 hours to set a new Guiness World record.

The 43-year-old ran in Santiago as thousands of Chileans poured in from time to time to cheer him on. Erwin trained rigorously for the event by incorporating a daily run of 42 km to and from his office.
