Asian Games 2014: Shakib Al-Hasan, Rubel Hossain in Bangladesh Squad

Bangladesh will be one of the Test-playing nations in the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.

All-rounder Shakib Al-Hasan and fast bowler Rubel Hossain have been named in the Bangladesh team for the 17th Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea as replacements for off-spinner Shohag Gazi and paceman Al Amin Hossain. Paceman Masrafe Mortaza will lead Bangladesh.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board decided to replace Gazi and Al Amin, who have been reported for suspected illegal bowling action, as they will have to undergo biomechanical testing soon as per the procedure outlined by the International Cricket Council.

The squad: Masrafe Bin Mortaza (Captain), Tamim Iqbal, Anamul Hoque Bijoy, Imrul Kayes, Md Mithun, Shamsur Rahman, Shakib Al Hasan, Shuvagata Hom Chowdhury, Shabbir Rahaman, Mahmud Ullah, Nasir Hossain, Arafat Sunny, Muktar Ali, Rubel Hossain, Taskin Ahmed.
