Having registered a historic win against Sri Lanka on Tuesday, knocking India out in the process, Bangladesh players have been wording their emotions with fervour. Pacer Mashrafe Mortaza opened the spell by thanking the jingoistic support that fans have given his side. "A lot of supporters & fans of Bangladesh Cricket are congratulating us till now. But we want to celebrate its on 22 March night really," he tweeted after the match. He followed it up with another - Now it's time for sleep. But can I sleep? Ok try...... Bye. Opener Tamim Iqbal was not too far behind. He smashed 59 to set up a solid base against Sri Lanka. He however, was brimming with energy and did not forget to update his official Facebook page. "There was extra motivation from my teammates and family members. My Guru, Salahuddin sir and even Jamie Siddons, our coach Stuart Law," was the message that flashed across his page.

At last count, over 3300 fans had re-emphasised their support by liking his comment.
In all of this, there was one aspect that set the twitter accounts and pages apart from those of most other players. There was no commercial or modeling photos to be found in the pages seen. The Bangladesh players only had celebration pics and those clicked by fans at the Shere-Bangla stadium to share with their well-wishers.
