WTA Championships seeks host city for 2014, beyond
The women's tennis tour is opening the bidding process to find a host city for its season-ending WTA Championships starting 2014.

The women's tennis tour is opening the bidding process to find a host city for its season-ending WTA Championships starting 2014.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, WTA Chairman and CEO Stacy Allaster calls this "a chance for some city somewhere to step up on the world stage."
The WTA says a decision will be made next March.
This year's tournament will be held from October 23-28 in Istanbul, which will also host the 2013 edition.
New York, Los Angeles, Munich, Madrid and Doha also have hosted the season-ending tournament.
