Sania Mirza and her Czech partner Barbora Strycova entered the final of the Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo, as they beat Canadian-Spanish combine Gabriela Dabrowski-Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez 4-6, 6-3, 10-5 on Friday.
In the semi-finals they beat Japanese-Chinese combine Miyu Kato and Yifan Xu (JPN/CHN) 6-2, 6-2.
The Indo-Czech pair took just 48 minutes to subdue their rivals as they converted all the five breakpoints that they got.
Earlier, Sania and Barbora beat Misaki Doi/ Kurumi Nara 6-7 (3), 7-5, 10-8 in the first round of the women's doubles event.
Sania and Barbora were beaten in the quarter-finals of the US Open recently.
