Leander Paes will team up with Andy Murray at this week's Montreal Masters after parting ways with Daniel Nestor - his doubles partner since April. (Also read: When Leander Paes was honoured by Lok Sabha)
Paes and Nestor played eight tournaments together but failed to reach even a single final. That may well change with the veteran Indian partnering Murray who is world No. 3 in singles. Paes and Murray will combine forces against Kevin Anderson and Jeremy Chardy in the opening round of Montreal Masters and stand a chance to face Jamie Murray - Andy's brother, and John Peers.
The partnership between 42-year-old Paes and 28-year-old Murray however is believed to be a temporary arrangement and the Indian will have to look out for someone else soon after the tournament is over. In the upcoming US Open, he is expected to pair up with Spanish sensation Fernando Verdasco.
