Roger Federer admitted Wednesday he was happy that his perfect serving streak had ended after 116 games in his Wimbledon quarter-final win over Gilles Simon.

But French 12th seed Simon ended the run of 116 consecutive service games in the 10th game of the second set. (It's Federer v Murray in semis)
"I'm happy it lasted as long as it did but at the same time, I'm also relieved that we're not going to talk about that anymore and I can just focus on the normal things," said Federer.
"But it's been a great streak. It goes to show what I'm doing off the baseline on my serve, or serve-volleying, the way I'm hitting it and placing it seems to work, especially on the grass now."
Seven-time Wimbledon champion Federer won Wednesday's match 6-3, 7-5, 6-2 to set-up a semi-final on Friday against third seed Andy Murray
