Sania Mirza to be Showstopper at Delhi Fashion Week
Sania Mirza will walk the ramp at a fashion show in Delhi after being roped in by designer Ritu Pande. Sania recently won the tennis mixed doubles gold in the Incheon Asian Games.
Indian tennis queen Sania Mirza, who is basking in the glory of gold and silver medals at the Incheon Asian Games after her triumph in the US Open, will soon be seen walking the ramp at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Spring-Summer 2015 which started in New Delhi on Wednesday. Sania, who has drawn rave reviews for her moves on the tennis courts and style quotient off them, has been roped in by designer Ritu Pande to be the showstopper on Friday. The Hyderabadi girl has of course walked the ramp before, for designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil during the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour in Mumbai two years ago. Sania is married to former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik, who was in Hyderabad recently for the Champions League Twenty20.
