2.1 OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Mitchell Starc at his very best, and he's got a wicket off the first ball of the over again. Starc pushes the ball very full and outside off, getting it to shape away. It's a bit of a nothing shot from Tanzid Hasan as he just jabs at it and the ball flies off the outside edge to third slip. Beau Webster takes a sharp catch around his waist and the Aussies appeal for a catch. The umpires want to check whether it is a bump ball or not, and the very first replay quickly confirms that it isn't a bump ball. Australia have turned up the heat.  9/2

4.5 OUT! TAKEN! Mitchell Starc just keeps knocking 'em down with ease. Another very full ball, fairly wide outside off and swings away very late. Similarly to what Tanzid did, Mominul Haque follows the ball and tries to dab it into the off side, but it's a nothing shot. He just pushes it off the outside edge wide of gully, and Cameron Green dives in front and to his left, snaffling it inches above the ground. The third umpire is called in again for a check, and it is not a bump ball, plus the catch is fine too. Bangladesh's top-order quartet of southpaws is now back in the dug out.  10/4

2.2 OUT! LBW! Mitchell Starc is on a hat-trick! Starc goes full again but he pushes the ball into the left-hander this time. Najmul Hossain Shanto leans on to flick but falls over a bit and gets beaten past the inside edge, getting hit on the front pad. There is a big appeal, and the umpire's finger eventually goes up. Kumar Dharmasena really took his time with this one and Najmul Hossain Shanto has reviewed it. The third umpire is called in and there's nothing on UltraEdge. Ball Tracking shows that it is just clipping the leg stump and that's enough for the on-field call to stand. Bangladesh are in a spot of real bother at 9/3 as their skipper departs for a golden duck.  9/3

Mushfiqur Rahim is drawn forward and looks to drive with a straight bat, but the ball hits the dirty seam and nips back in, going through bat and pad to shatter into the stumps. Rahim could have and should have done better, but that's classic Cummins for you. Bangladesh are now 21/6, and into the tail we go.  21/6

6.4 OUT! LBW! A five-wicket haul inside 4 overs for Mitchell Starc. Starc has put on an absolute clinic in Mackay. Hooping back in sharply, fuller and on middle and leg. Das' head falls over to the off side for the flick and is beaten on the inside edge. It clips the front pad before thudding into the back pad. There is a big appeal for LBW. It is received with a shake of the head by Kumar Dharmasena. Pat Cummins checks with the men behind the bat and takes the review. There were again two noises but the UltraEdge comes up with a flat line, confirming no involvement of the bat. The Ball Tracking comes up as three reds with the ball crashing into the leg stump. Cummins pushes the length up, around the off stump. Miraz pushes out well in front of his body and goes at it with hard hands. The wobble seam ball moves away enough to catch the outside edge, and there is a bit of lift off the deck as well. It travels quickly to third slip, where Beau Webster gets low to his right and takes a sharp catch.  36/7

25.5 OUT! CAUGHT! The leg slip comes into play straight away. Along with the field change, Josh Hazlewood also changes his angle of attack as he comes from around the wicket. Bowls it on a back of a length, at the hips. Mahmud cannot resist the temptation of playing the glance. He works it away off the hips but straight into the waiting hands of Nathan Lyon at leg slip, who gobbles it up at waist height. Bangladesh are now 38/8, with 43 being their lowest Test score. It came against West Indies back in 2018.  38/8

28.1 OUT! CAUGHT! Taskin Ahmed had made up his mind that he was going to take the short ball on, but it does not come off for him. Cummins digs it in short, over middle. Taskin backs away, exposing all three stumps. Gets his hands high and swings across for the pull. It is skied in front of square on the leg side. Matt Renshaw runs to his left from mid-wicket, settles under it and does the rest. Bangladesh are now 39/9, still 4 runs behind their lowest Test score of 43.  39/9

A special effort from a special bowler.  On the fuller side, just around the off pole. Islam exposes all three stumps and has a poke at the ball. 7.2 OUT! DRAGGED ON! Shoriful Islam strikes with his second ball and he has his arms aloft in celebration. For the third time in as many innings this series, Head has chopped it back onto the stumps. Seam-up ball, nipping back in, on a good length. Head hangs back to flay it away on the off side but the ball cuts back in off the deck to cramp him for room. It catches the inside edge and brushes the back thigh before clattering into the top of the off stump. Australia are 40/2, trailing by 24 runs.  40/2

3 OUT! EDGED AND GONE! A short stay at the crease for Matt Renshaw on his Test return, and Taskin Ahmed gets the first Aussie wicket. Taskin comes around the wicket now, pitching it fuller and angling it in from off stump. The ball lands on the seam and straightens. Renshaw looks to get across and flick but ends up getting a leading edge towards third slip. Tanzid Hasan takes a good catch around his face, and Australia are 22/1, trailing by 42 runs.  22/1

7.5 OUT! BOWLED! An unfortunate way to get out. When form deserts you, luck often follows. Another low score for Marnus Labuschagne. A double whammy by Shoriful Islam. Moving back in the air, on a length, on the leg stump line. Labuschagne shuffles across to play the tickle but fails to lay any bat on the ball. The ball clips the thigh pad and deflects back onto the sticks. Australia have lost their top three with just 41 on the board and the deficit being 23.  41/3

25.5 OUT! LBW! A prolonged appeal and the finger is raised. Steve Smith has a rather reluctant look on his face as he takes the review. From over the wicket, fuller in length, around off. Smith shuffles across and presents a straight bat for the block. The ball cuts back in off the deck to go past the inside edge and catches the batter on the flap of the front pad. The replays confirm that there was daylight between the bat and the ball. The Ball Tracking comes up as umpire's call, with the ball clipping the top of the off stump. The on-field decision is upheld. One of those decisions that could have gone either way. Earlier today, we saw a similar decision go against Najmul Hossain Shanto, and he walked off rather unhappy. 47.2 OUT! LBW! That is a gem of a delivery and Shoriful Islam has 7 wickets to his name in this innings. Islam goes full and fast, straighter at the stumps. The ball shapes back in really late and sharply too, curving in like a banana shape and Cameron Green is completely taken by surprise. He tries to jam it out but gets hit on the front foot. The ball rolls down to deep third and there's a big appeal for LBW. The umpire turns it out but the review is taken. Ball Tracking comes up with three reds and Green has to depart after a fighting knock, and there's nothing he could have actually done about that delivery. 31 OUT! IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! Mehidy Hasan Miraz gets into the attack and delivers in the very first over. This one is flatter as well, a touch fuller, just outside off. Alex Carey comes down the track and has a swipe across the line. He takes the risk of going against the turn and pays the price. The ball holds up in the surface and spins away to catch the top edge. It is skied high toward the mid on region, and Hasan Mahmud gets underneath to pouch it around his chest.  145/5

Shoriful switches to over the wicket for Webster and bowls it full, getting the ball to shape back into the right-hander. Webster lunges for the block but is beaten by the inward movement and gets hit on the front pad right in front of the stumps. Shoriful Islam gets his maiden Test FIVE-FER and punches the air in celebration. A surprise bouncer from the left-arm quick. Pat Cummins hops up and looks to fend it down, but the ball keeps on rising and the batter takes his eyes off the ball. It brushes the gloves of the batter before lobbing up off the right shoulder. Litton Das moves to his left and does the rest. From 145/4, Australia are now 146/7, with the lead being 82 runs.  146/7

33.1 OUT! TIMBER! A peach of a delivery and Shoriful Islam is on a roll here. Bowled by going slightly wide on the crease, on a good length, around the off pole. Starc stays rooted to the crease and brings his bat out in front to cover the line of the ball. It lands and straightens off the deck to sneak past the outside edge, and it crashes into the off stump. 145/4 becomes 148/8 for Australia. Wicket number 6 for Shoriful. 52.3 OUT! CAUGHT! There it is, and Bangladesh finally manage to close out the Australian first innings. The hosts are bowled out for 210, ending with a 146-run first-innings lead. Taijul Islam comes around the wicket now and floats this one up around middle and leg. Josh Hazlewood takes the front leg out and goes for the slog sweep but gets a top edge. The ball goes towards mid-wicket, where Shadman Islam from short mid-wicket backtracks and settles under the swirling ball to take a good catch.  210/10

A skiddy short ball from Pat Cummins, digging it in right at the batter. Hasan tries to get inside the line to play the favoured hook shot but gets into an awkward position. The ball flies off the top edge down to fine leg, where Mitchell Starc takes a good low catch. Hasan looked pretty decent out there till that delivery, and Bangladesh are now 24/3, still trailing by 122 runs.  24/3

Islam gets on his toes and shapes up to work it across to the leg side with a closed bat face. The ball holds its line to open up the batter. It pops up off the leading edge and lobs to point, where Marnus Labuschagne gets on his knees and does the rest. Bangladesh are 5/1, trailing by 141 runs.  5/1

Haque is unsure where the ball will swing away or come back into him. He hangs his bat out a bit tentatively before opting to make the leave. 21 OUT! TAKEN! Nathan Lyon gets his first wicket of the Test match. Not sure about the shot that Najmul Hossain Shanto played, especially in this situation. This is tossed up, full and on off. Najmul Hossain Shanto looks to go inside out and tries to loft it over covers, but the ball does not spin much. It catches the inside half of the bat and flies much straighter, down the throat of long off, where Mitchell Starc pouches it safely. Shanto stands there in disbelief, but has to walk back now. 24.4 OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Who else? It is that man, Mitchell Starc, once again. A pair for Litton Das, in fact, 3 ducks in a row, and he will finish this series without any runs. Starc lands this back of a length and pushes the line wide outside off, angling away. Das, without moving his feet much, just hangs his bat away to fiddle with it. Gets a thick outside edge that flies to third slip, where Beau Webster takes a sharp catch to his right. Bangladesh are 63/5, still trailing by 83 runs.  63/5

27.3 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! An innocuous delivery, but it still fetches Pat Cummins a wicket, and he has a sheepish smile on his face. Short and wide on off, there to be put away. Miraz hangs back and throws his hands at the ball but the ball kicks up a bit to graze the top edge of the blade. It keeps rising on its way to the keeper. Alex Carey leaps to his right and gobbles it up at head height. Miraz got away with one in the previous over of Starc when he threw his bat at the ball, but not this time. 29.3 OUT! TAKEN! The short ball does the trick. Cummins switches to around the wicket and directs a short ball right at the bodyline of the batter. Hasan hangs deep in the crease and initially looks to duck. He is rushed on the shot, and the ball gets big on him. It pops up off the gloves in front of short leg. Travis Head moves forward and does the rest. Mahmud so nearly stepped back onto the stumps after he copped it on the gloves. Not sure why, but Head ran towards the stumps and also took the bails off. Taijul Islam gets stuck in his crease and looks to clip it across the line but gets nowhere near the ball as it goes through and rattles the stumps. Starc holds the ball high above his head and takes in all the applause.  82/8

38.1 OUT! CAUGHT! What a start to the final session from Nathan Lyon. He serves it full and just outside off, with a hint of turn. Taskin Ahmed leans forward and tries to block it. The ball kisses the outside edge of his blade and carries to the right of the slip fielder, Steve Smith, who bends low to that side and takes a good catch just above the ground.
