Australia and Karachi Kings batter David Warner was involved in an awkward on-field moment, right after the conclusion of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 match against Pindiz. Warner was among the pick of the batters for Karachi, scoring 50 runs off 46 balls, laying the foundation of a 198-run chase in the game on Thursday. However, after the game, Warner was captured in an awkward conversation with some of his Karachi teammates, prompting Team Director Haider Azhar to intervene.
Fans started to wonder what happened between Warner, his teammates and Haider after the game. One of the fans tagged Haider on social media and asked him what the incident was about. However, it was Warner who responded.
"What was the conversation going on here @HaiderAzhar, Good win Alhamdu Lillah, No one can stop us this Season in Sha Allah," the fan asked.
Replying to the post, Warner said that he asked Haider to go and shake hands with the players of the opponent team first. "I said to @HaiderAzhar to go first and shake hands," he said.

As for the match, Karachi's Azam Khan looked at his explosive best as he hammered a 34-ball 74 to propel his team to their third consecutive victory in HBL PSL 11. Azam's blitz helped Karachi overshadow Daryl Mitchell's 41-ball 65 as they successfully chased down a 184-run target against Rawalpindiz at the Gaddafi Stadium.
Azam's innings, which included his seventh half-century in the PSL, was well-supported by Warner before the Australian departed in the 16th over. Despite several dropped catches by the Pindiz fielders, Azam dominated the middle overs, reducing the equation to a manageable five runs needed off the final over.
Mohammad Abbas Afridi eventually sealed the win with a boundary, ensuring the Kings remained at the top of the points table, while Rawalpindiz's earlier efforts-led by half-centuries from Mitchell and Sam Billings-proved insufficient to halt Karachi's momentum.
