London:
Young Badminton champion Rajiv Ouseph is eyeing a gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics. His family hails from Thrissur in Kerala and he is the first English player for 20 years to win the European Junior Championships this year. "It's a dream. I am 19 now, so I will be 26 and hopefully at my peak when the Olympics come to London. Having them staged in the country has encouraged me to train that bit harder," Rajiv told the Guardian. "If I was to make the British team it would make my mum and dad so proud. And that would mean so much to me because everything I have achieved so far I owe to them,aÂÂ he added. Ouseph comes from a family with plenty of badminton experience as his father Joe was a decent club player and his sisters Rajani and Reshmi have both competed at county level in their time.
