India complete a thrashing of Zimbabwe in Bulawayo. Vihaan Malhotra's century led them to 352 batting first, and then a clinical display with the ball followed. RS Ambrish made the early breakthroughs, while Ayush Mhatre and Udhav Mohan finished things off. Zimbabwe manage to bat only 37.4 overs, and their NRR takes a big hit.

The win takes India to the top of their Super 6 group.

Victory for India! Udhav Mohan finishes things off with his second wicket of the over. The pacer ends with three wickets, as Zimbabwe's Webster Madhidhi departs for a duck. A massive 204-run win for India! That will do wonders for their net-run-rate (NRR).

End of an excellent batting display by Team India. Vaibhav Suryavanshi set the tone with a fiery 30-ball 52. Abhigyan Kundu made an excellent 61. Khilan Patel added power at the end with a 12-ball 30. But the star of the show? Vihaan Malhotra. 109 off 107!

Abhigyan Kundu and Vihaan Malhotra have completed their 100-run partnership. This stand has truly changed the game for India, who were struggling for runs after losing four wickets. The duo now aim to take this partnership deeper and propel India towards a good total.

A full delivery, Mhatre tries to go big the ball finds the thick edge of the bat and travels straight to the wicketkeeper. Nathaniel Hlabangana makes no mistake and takes a good catch. Zimbabwe finally take a sigh of relief as Webster Madhidhi bowls an economical over. He concedes just two runs and controls the flow of runs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre are looking in good touch with the bat and forming a good partnership.

FIFTY!!! Vaibhav Suryavanshi takes a single on Tatenda Chimugoro's delivery and completes his half-century. He took 24 balls to reach his fifty. What a batting performance from the teen sensation as one-down India continue to dominate.

Just wow! Vaibhav Suryavanshi is at his absolute best as he refuses to slow and keeps on hitting his powerful shots. In the previous over of Panashe Mazai, Suryavanshi hit two sixes and a boundary. With this, he also breached the 40-run mark and now inching towards his half-century.

Goerge chooses a good length delivery on middle, clears his front foot and skies it straight to mid-on. The ball goes up in the air and Simbarashe Mudzengerere takes a good catch. The Super Six. U19 World Cup 2026 match between India and Zimbabwe finally begins. For India, Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Aaron George have opened the proceedings. The duo is looking for a solid opening partnership. On the other hand, Panashe Mazai will be bowling the first over for Zimbabwe. 

"You know what? There's a phrase and a song I enjoy: the sun will come up in the morning. It certainly has today. We have a high of 29 degrees and a low of 17. We've been waiting for that high of 29 for a long time, and now we have it without a cloud in the sky. What will that do for the conditions? We'll find out shortly. I want to bring your attention to how the bowlers have controlled the game here so far; seamers have picked up 46 wickets while spinners have taken 22. Cricket is heavily dependent on conditions. With this incredibly warm sun, the warmest we've had yet, the pitch is baking nice and flat. For seamers, it's going to be very difficult to create chances, as anything short will sit up to be whacked," said Andy Flower. 

"We were looking to bat first because of the sunlight and the lack of rain. The wicket looks really hard and good. We have one change: Mohamed Enaan misses out and Udhav comes in. It's a tactical change. [Preparation] Has been good. We've had some high-quality sessions, so we are confident," said Ayush Mhatre. 

"We are going to bowl first. There might be a little movement in the morning, and the wicket looks like it has some moisture. If we execute well, it'll be good for us. [Team changes] Yes, Webster Madhidhi comes in for Kupakwashe Muradzi, and Takudzwa Makoni replaces Shelton Mazvitorera," said Simbarashe Mudzengerere. 

The focus is entirely on the 14-year-old batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is eager to play a fiery knock again today. Along with captain Ayush Mhatre, Suryavanshi is expected to go big again.

India secured three consecutive wins in their Group B matches against the USA by six wickets, Bangladesh by 18 runs and New Zealand. Along with them, Bangladesh and New Zealand also qualified for the next round.

The Indian men's U19 team maintained its winning run in the 2026 ICC Men’s U19 Cricket World Cup with a seven‑wicket win over New Zealand in a rain‑affected group stage match at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, on Saturday.
